New Room Conference is a yearly conference sponsored by Seedbed Publishing. Their logo is a famous window in New Room, Bristol.
Like many ministry opportunities New Room Conference leaders have had to adapt to new realities. Rather than an in-person conference, this year New Room is offering a Night with New Room.
A Night with New Room: livestreamed evening of worship, teaching, and prayer for great awakening. I want to invite and encourage you to attend this two hour ministry experience on Friday, September 25th, 2020 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. WEDNESDAY NIGHTS RE-IMAGINED
We are encouraged to continue in new and creative ways to grow into the likeness of Jesus. This is where "Wednesday Nights Re-Imagined!" comes into the picture. We will use a hybrid model for the foreseeable future. We will not meet at the church but we are encouraged to safely gather in groups of 2-4 as we are able and utilize Zoom to gather collectively.
Two (2) new classes are being offered:
1. The Wesleyan Journey w/ Kenithe Biggs (7 weeks, last class 10/28)
2. Disciple I w/ Woody Givens (34 weeks)

DOROTHY JACKSON PECAN SALES
The Dorothy Jackson Pecan Sale will start on Sunday, Sep 20. The sale will be a little different this year. We will be selling by preorders only due to the COVID Risk. We may have a few bags left over as we have to order in case lots. We will put order blanks in the Atrium for you to use if you don’t see a circle Member. Delivery will be in early November. Prices are the same as last year: all pecans will be $9.00, walnuts will be $8.50, Mixed nut tins will be $16.00 and pecan logs will be $16.50/3. If you have any questions please contact Joy Bissonnette at ljbiss1969@gmail or another member of the circle. Sales period will continue until Oct 18. When the orders come in we are asking for checks as much as possible. We thank each of you for your support of the Dorothy Jackson Circle.

SOUL FOOD MINISTRY
The Soul Food Ministry needs your help. This ministry provides a meal for a family who has experienced a death. This meal is usually provided after the funeral or memorial service. There are two ways you can help: Provide a side dish or give money to the Soul Food Fund to purchase the meat. If you see yourself helping with this ministry, please contact one of the chairs, Charlotte Battles or Kay Holt.

FISHWe exist to connect people together in significant relationships, to become more Christ-like, help others come to faith in Christ, and glorify God through service to His Church.
Coffee TalkWe are an informal group of adults, most with children, coming together to study contemporary topics facing Christians, Methodists, and parents. We are focused on connecting with each other through in-depth conversation.
The WellWe are focused on growing closer to God and connecting with one another. We get closer to God through Bible study, accountability, fellowship, and participation in church life. We are growing families investing in community life. We know life can be difficult, so we focus on supporting one another and building relationships.
FriendshipWe study the word of God and incorporate that word into our lives while having meaningful fellowship throughout the year.
Covenant ClassOur mission is service, fellowship, and learning. With the help of the Holy Spirit, we aim to know God and share God’s saving love through Christ.
Bruce StrotherOur mission is to: strengthen our relationship with God, apply the Word of God to daily living and share our love of Christ with others.
SeekersWe strive to grow closer to God through a variety of studies from various authors. Our class is focused on an open discussion.
Ayers Whitney Fellowship ClassThis is the oldest continuing Sunday School class at FUMC. Our class is very fortunate to have wonderful teachers, who add so much to our study. We love to have a good time when we are together, including an annual fish fry and Christmas Party. We are a very welcoming group.

This group meets for at least 90 minutes to share in a study and grow in faith. Currently studying Revelation.

This group always welcomes new members into their years together. Currently studying Samuel.

A dynamic group that continues to grow. Currently studying the book “Soul Keeper” by John Ortberg.
Young at HeartSenior Adults, who are "YOUNG AT HEART," meet every other month for fellowship, fun, food and factual programs. The speakers are always informative and entertaining, the food is always delicious and the atmosphere welcoming.
United Methodist WomenUMW is an organization of approximately one million members whose purpose is to foster spiritual growth, develop leaders and advocate for justice. They are a community of women committed to mission, (supporting women, children and youth in local, national and global mission areas), to growing spiritually through prayer, Bible studies and spiritual retreats, and to nurturing one another. We welcome any woman who commits herself to engage in mission, study, personal growth and social action.
Joy SquadIn a Christ-like Spirit, the Joy Squad assists those in need of short-term transportation and light-duty jobs.
Soul FoodThis group provides a meal to families who have lost a loved one, either before or after the funeral service.
Loving HandsThis group utilizes their talents to knit or crochet prayer shawls and quilts while fellowshipping together. They have recently begun working on a special project for young women in Africa. If you want to learn to crochet, knit or sew, come join this group. Loving Hands meet each Wednesday afternoon at 3 pm in the Sew and Sews Room.
