The Trustees would like to thank everyone who helps keep our church in good condition. Our staff is dedicated to the church, but is often assisted by volunteers who step up quietly to do what is needed. While we could never name everyone who deserves credit, we would like to thank all of you. We would like to add special thanks to two groups who have worked at least weekly to keep our church clean, well maintained and beautiful. Matthew and Meagan Hamilton, with some help from their parents Rick and Kay Hamilton, have maintained our landscaping for the entire summer. They have mowed, clipped and planted, and the result has been beautiful. Bill Smith and Richie Brown have volunteered countless hours to simply help “fix what needed to be fixed” and make small improvements to the building. Thank you to Matthew, Megan, Bill and Richie, and to all of you who do so much everyday to keep our church beautiful and functional.
The church is in the process of upgrading our website to make it the “go-to” place to find out everything you need to know about the church. One of the features will be posting a current newsletter each week. The church spends a significant amount of money each year mailing newsletters to members. As a cost saving measure we would like to offer an alternate method for you to receive your newsletter. If you have access to email and the internet you could receive an email notice that the newsletter has been posted on the website with a link to take you directly to the website. Over the next few weeks we will be collecting email addresses for those who would like to receive your newsletter electronically. We will continue to mail newsletters to anyone who prefers that method of delivery.
